Scott Valley Bank’s Yreka branch, located at 515 S. Broadway, first opened its doors in 1965. As the first branch office beyond the Scott Valley region, the Yreka branch truly marked the beginning of the growth of the bank. Total bank assets at that time were just over $7 million!  Currently, deposits at the Yreka branch alone stand well over $100 million.
Many recall when the S. Broadway branch office location served as the administrative hub for the bank until those functions moved to another downtown Yreka building, then later to the Westside Road location.
